Dolores Leal
LEAP is proud to honor Ms. Leal for her lifelong dedication to justice and her commitment to communities in need. Since joining Allred, Maroko & Goldberg in 1991, she has been a pioneering force in employment law, advocating fearlessly for women in the workplace, pregnant workers, people with disabilities, and rural communities.
Her case record includes a landmark $45 million verdict for age and sex discrimination, a nearly $5 million pregnancy discrimination victory in Tylo v. Spelling Entertainment Group, and a $4 million verdict against Chevron USA for disability discrimination. A respected author, speaker, and 21-time Super Lawyer, Leal was inducted as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2008 — and her impact on the legal profession continues to this day.
